Robinson's On The Terrace Relaunch With Fun Filled Open Day

by isleofman.com 23rd November 2011
Local retailer and florist Robinson’s have recently undertaken a programme of refurbishment at their shop on Prospect Terrace, Douglas. The refurbishment has seen a new layout installed to display their ever growing product lines, which offer specialist produce for Chinese, Indian, Italian, Polish and South African dishes, along with local Manx produce. The fruit and vegetables all feature improved displays along with winter flowers and ideas for Christmas arrangements. To mark the occasion, on Saturday 26th November Robinson’s will have a grand re-launch with a fun filled day of prizes, competitions and giveaways. There will be flower arranging demonstrations at 11am as well as the chance to win a fantastic Signature by Robinson’s bouquet. With an exclusive range of Christmas bouquets to choose from (including poinsettias and Christmas trees), customers can also take advantage of their early order discount service – with bookings now available online. From the selection of Manx cheeses to the delicious range of Ballapaddag Christmas wraps, there will also be tasters and nibbles for customers to try out Robinson’s range of niche products. For the kids, balloons will be given away throughout the day – plus customers will also have the chance to win one of three great prizes in the Robinson’s raffle, including vouchers worth ?25, ?50 and ?100. Events will commence at 10am and will continue well into the afternoon. Ross Williamson, Retail Manager at Robinson’s on the Terrace, commented on the Open Day: “We are delighted by the developments at Robinson’s on the Terrace and want to thanks our loyal customers for their support during this time of transition. The Open Day is not only a celebration of the developments, but also a chance for customers to view the selection of produce on offer within the shop and also the wide array of fresh flowers available. Come and visit us on this fun filled day.” ENDS
