Police are investigating an incident involving two dogs on Thornhill Close, Port Erin, which left an elderly woman with injuries. At approximately 10.45am on Saturday 12th November 2011, two dogs approached her on the public footpath on the Close causing her to fall heavily to the ground and sustain facial and bodily injuries. Both dogs were described as large dogs, one of which was possibly a Labrador which was chocolate brown in colour. No other description of the second dog was available. Anyone who witnessed the incident or may be able to identify the dogs involved is asked to contact Constable Nick WILLINGHAM at Port Erin Police Station on 832222 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
