Brunswick Road Road Traffic Collision

At approximately 1pm on Friday 25th November 2011 a one vehicle road traffic collision occurred on Brunswick Road, Douglas. The incident involved a blue coloured Rover 75 motor car which collided with the wall of the Woodbourne Hotel. The two occupants of the Rover were conveyed to Nobles Hospital where one of them was subsequently pronounced dead. At this time the circumstances leading up to the collision are unclear and as such Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area of Alexander Drive or Brunswick Road at the time of the collision or who saw the Rover 75 motor car prior to the collision.. The road was closed for approximately two and a quarter hours while Police conducted enquiries at the scene. ENDS
