Christmas Offers Galore In Store In Ramsey

Ramsey traders are gearing up for Christmas with incentives, offers and vouchers to attract shoppers to the town. Ramsey Chamber of Commerce has commissioned a booklet packed with special offer vouchers for use in named stores in the weeks before Christmas that was distributed Island-wide in the November 21 edition of the Isle of Man Examiner. Additionally on Sunday December 11 the Ramsey Santa trail is taking place from 12noon to 4pm when more than 40 shops in the town will be open and some ?1200 worth of shopping vouchers will be on offer for observant shoppers who can find the 12 Days of Christmas cards located among the stores: first prize ?500, second ?250, third ?150 and fourth ?100. Entry forms will be available from Ramsey Town Hall on the day. There will also be a Christmas market on Sunday afternoon December 11 in St Paul’s Square and Father Christmas will be setting up camp in his grotto on Saturday December 3, 10 and 17 and Sunday 11 from 2 to 4pm in Ramsey town hall. (?2.50 per child). Chairman of Ramsey Town Commissioners Captain Nigel Malpass said: ‘In these difficult trading times we applaud and fully support Ramsey Chamber of Commerce’s innovative measures to make Ramsey the essential destination for festive fun this Christmas.’ ENDS
