Baker Tilly Win PDMS Sponsored Adventure Team Challenge

by isleofman.com 6th December 2011
Nineteen teams battled it out in this year’s Adventure Team Challenge sponsored by software developers PDMS. The event, organised by The Children’s Centre to raise funds, is billed as the Island's ultimate team adventure event and puts teams of five to the test both mentally and physically in a series of adrenaline filled ‘stages'. Competitors had to run and cycle and take part in Krypton Factor-style mental agility tests. A team from Baker Tilly accountants and business advisors won and were presented with the trophy by Chris Gledhill, Managing Director of PDMS. He said: “The Adventure team Challenge is a real highlight of the year for us, it is great fun and a fantastic opportunity to get out of the office and work as a team in a totally different environment.” Event organiser Mark Eastham said: “The Adventure Team Challenge was a great success and this year raised ?10,470 for The Children’s Centre’s charitable project Mobex, money that will allow young people to take part in their own challenging and adventurous activities. We would like to thank PDMS for sponsoring the event and all the teams that took part.” - ENDS -
