Isle of Man Operators Excel At Prestigious E-Gaming Review Awards

It was a successful night for the Isle of Man and its e-Gaming sector at the e-Gaming Review Operator Awards (EGR), held on Wednesday 30th November, where Isle of Man companies picked up no less than four awards. The seventh annual EGR Awards were held in the Artillery Garden at the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) in London and attended by 800 key industry professionals. The Awards provide a benchmark for performance and highlight the leaders in the e-Gaming field. Isle of Man licensed Paddy Power collected three awards for Affiliate Programme of the Year, Social Networking Operator and Customer Relations, demonstrating their high level of performance all round. On addressing his staff Paddy Power (himself) said: ‘Winning one award is a fantastic achievement but winning three is totally unprecedented. Well done to all involved for this great achievement which is recognition of your hard work and diligence. Keep it up!’ Isle of Man licensed JenningsBet won the coveted Best Website Performance award, the winner of which is determined by measuring key metrics of response time, availability and consistency of the website using the Gomez Last Mile. John Shimmin MHK, Minister for the Isle of Man Government’s Department of Economic Development, said: ‘The E-Gaming Review Awards reflect the contribution of these top Isle of Man companies to the industry’s development and I would like to congratulate each and every one of the winners.’ Garth Kimber, Head of e-Gaming Development, Isle of Man Government’s Department of Economic Development commented: ‘Once again the Isle of Man has demonstrated its ability to support and regulate world-leading companies in the e-Gaming field. The Best Website Performance award particularly demonstrates the unparalleled network performance which is available from the Island and JenningsBet’s commitment to evolve their site to meet their customers’ needs and expectations.’ Steve Templeman, Director at JenningsBet, said: ‘The multi disciplinary technical team which our datacentre Domicilium has provided has enabled us to successfully tune every aspect of our platform and therefore outperform our competition.’ Ends
