'Road Traffic Collision which occurred on the Access Road to The Bowl, Douglas, near to the rear of the Football Association Building, at approximately 6.20 pm on Tuesday 8 November, 2011'
Enquiries are continuing into the serious collision, involving Mrs Christina Collister, on the access road to The Bowl and Ellan Vannin Gymnastics Club which occurred at approximately 6.20 pm on Tuesday 8 November 2011.
Inspector Terry Stephen of the Roads Policing Unit thanked members of the public for taking the time and trouble to contact the Police following his appeal last week.
The Police are still very interested in speaking to anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the blue Renault Clio vehicle being driven prior to the collision.
In particular they would like to speak to the occupants of a red coloured car which was seen stopped at the collision scene. They would also like to speak to a male person who may have witnessed the Renault Clio vehicle being driven just prior to the collision. This person is described as being a “Groundsman” but as yet he has not been identified.
If anyone thinks they can help with these enquiries they are requested to contact Police Headquarters on 631212 or contact Crimestoppers (IOM) on 0800 555111.
