Leadership and Management Qualifications

by isleofman.com 20th December 2011
Chief Minister Allan Bell MHK has congratulated a group of Government officers on their success in gaining nationally recognised leadership and management qualifications. Mr Bell presented certificates to more than 50 civil and public servants at a recent event held at the Manx Museum. The qualifications were achieved with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), the UK’s largest management organisation which provides services aimed at raising workplace standards and performance. The successful candidates completed their ILM programmes through the Learning and Organisational Development Division (LODD) of the Isle of Man Government’s Office of Human Resources. LODD was approved as an ILM centre in 2010 and now supports a range of programmes which are linked to ILM qualifications, including leadership, coaching, and delivering service process improvement. The presentation at the Manx Museum was also attended by Chief Secretary Will Greenhow, Head of LODD Joan Conway, and LODD Leadership Programme Manager Jane Mooney. Ends
