Fly Tipping

by isleofman.com 20th December 2011
Over the weekend of Friday 9th to Monday 12th December an incident of fly tipping has occurred in a lane just to Glen Maye side of Knockaloe Farm in Patrick. A fridge freezer unit (as pictured) has been dumped. Those who use the lane have no knowledge of the origin of the unit which will need to be removed and disposed of at a cost. PC Ian Scott from Peel Station said “This fridge unit is very distinctive as it has a large image of leaping dolphins over the front which someone will recognise. This would appear to be a matter of someone simply trying to avoid paying for proper disposal; however those responsible for littering can expect to pay a much more significant cost if caught”. ENDS
