Isle of Man Post Office would like to remind customers that the last posting date to the UK and Channel Islands is tomorrow, Wednesday the 21st December. For people wanting to post last minute gifts after this date, Special Delivery is available up until Friday 23rd December and includes a compensation level of ?500 for valuable presents. Post for local delivery should be sent by Friday 23rd December. There will also be a normal postal delivery on Christmas Eve, and the Post Office Retail Network will be open until 12.30. Customers can collect ‘left items’ at Douglas Mail Centre until 16.00. Due to the adverse weather conditions over the last few weeks and the limited ferry crossings, it is taking longer for parcels to arrive on the Island than usual. Isle of Man Post Office is working hard to sort and deliver customer parcels as soon as they arrive on the Island. ENDS
