Time and date of issue: 11pm 26 December 2011 NPT: Eastern Police attended a road traffic collision around 6:50pm on Christmas Day on the A2 Onchan to Laxey Road. The collision occurred on the Onchan side of Baldrine and involved one vehicle. The only occupant of the vehicle involved was injured and is currently receiving treatment at Noble’s Hospital. His condition is described as stable. Anyone who has witnessed the collision or who has any information are asked to contact PC 115 Scott FIELDING on 631445. End of Item Media Release Time and date of issue: 07.25 hrs Saturday 24th of December 2011 NPT or Department: Douglas NPT, Section 2 Douglas police are investigating criminal damage to a motor vehicle, a blue Rover 214, that occurred whilst it was parked in the The Heron Public House Car Park, Cushag Road, Anagh Coar between 17:00 hrs on Sunday the 18th of December and 18.22 hrs on Monday the 19th of December 2011. The vehicle has suffered damage to the rear driver’s side passenger window. It is believed a key or similar has been used to scratch the window repeatedly. End of Item Media Release Time and date of issue: 15:30 Friday Dec.23rd 2011 NPT or Department: Eastern Damage to a gate and signs Ennemona Road, Conrhenny, Onchan Sometime between Sunday 18th December and Thursday 22nd December a wooden gate and signage has been damaged at the entrance to woodland situated on the Ennemona Road, Conrhenny, Onchan. The road is a green lane running between Begoade Road and the Creg-ny-Baa Back Road, Onchan. The area is remote but is frequently used by off road vehicles and walkers. The damaged property belongs to the Dept of Environment, Food and Agriculture. The gate and signage will have to be replaced.
