No Isle of Man Patients Known To Have Received PIP Breast Implants

by isleofman.com 13th January 2012
Following recent concerns in France, the UK and other countries surrounding Poly Implant Prothese (PIP) manufactured breast implants, the Department of Health can advise that to its knowledge no NHS or private patients treated on-Island, or any NHS patient referred to the UK for treatment, has received PIP breast implants. The Department continues to monitor developments closely and in the unlikely event of any Isle of Man patients being identified as having received PIP breast implants, the Department is likely to follow advice and guidance issued by the UK Department of Health.
