KPMG Announces Senior Management Promotion

KPMG is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Edward Houghton to Senior Manager. Ed currently works within the local Transaction Services team and also has responsibility for a wide ranging Audit portfolio with a focus on AIM and LSE investment and mining related companies. With this promotion, Ed becomes a key element of the leadership of KPMG’s Transactions & Restructuring offering. Ed joined KPMG Isle of Man in 2003, initially qualifying as a Chartered Accountant within the Audit department. Since then Ed has focused on Transaction Services, conducting vendor and acquisition due diligence and also undertaking Reporting Accountants’ work in relation to IPO and capital market related transactions, together with Valuation related work across a wide range of sectors and jurisdictions. Commenting on Ed’s promotion, Russell Kelly, Director of KPMG, said: “This represents a key appointment within our team and Ed’s promotion reflects a continuing investment in the development of our specialist skills in the Transactions and Restructuring marketplace.” Ed commented on his new position: “I look forward to continuing to build my career at KPMG, increasing my responsibilities in assisting clients to achieve their business objectives and supporting them in managing the risks and issues that they encounter in doing so.” ENDS
