As part of its ongoing strategy to grow business in Asia, The ILS Group is seconding its Group Marketing Manager to the region for three months.
Kara McCabe will work from The ILS Group’s offices in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai throughout April, May and June.
The secondment will support ILS’s current and planned activity in Asia, which includes returning as Gold sponsor of the China Offshore Summit series of conferences in Beijing in May and in Shanghai in October.
Chief Executive Officer of The ILS Group, Chris Eaton said: “Kara’s secondment represents ILS’s continued commitment to Asia as a vital market for new business and reinforces our view of the importance of the region and the potential it holds globally.

The experience will also provide a unique learning environment, where personal growth and learning can be achieved as Kara will be stretched to develop and enhance her communication skills, cultural awareness and market knowledge.”
Group Marketing Manager Kara McCabe said: “I am very much looking forward to my secondment to Asia. In terms of wealth Asia-Pacific is the third biggest in the world with more than 40,000 UHNW individuals controlling total assets of $6.2trnm, and it’s expected to surpass Europe in 2024 and the US in 2032. These figures continue to reinforce the importance of Asia and the potential it holds.
