Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft of a car wheel and tyre which occurred sometime between 07:30 hrs on Tuesday 3rd January 2012 and 11:00 hrs on Thursday 5th January 2012, in the Peveril Avenue area of Peel. The wheel had been left in the garden of the property and was situated behind a wall so that it would not have been visible from the footpath or road. The wheel is the standard spare off of a Renault van and the tyre is large and branded “Wanli”. Police are anxious to hear from any person who may have any information which could assist in furthering their investigations and would urge any person who was in the area at the given time, to make contact. Enquires are ongoing into this matter and if any persons or vehicles were seen or heard acting suspiciously in the area during the times stated, Police will be eager to speak with witnesses. ENDS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a Suzuki RM 125 off road motorcycle. The theft occurred sometime between 3.30pm on Tuesday 3rd January and 11.15 am on Thursday 5th January 2012. The persons responsible have entered the rear garden of a house in the Bretney, Jurby and wheeled the motorcycle away. The motorcycle has no registration number and is very distinctive with yellow fairings and a blue engine Police would like anyone who may have knowledge of this incident or the persons responsible to contact any member of the Northern Policing Team on 812234.
