Peel RNLI Mechanic to Attend Jubilee Sailpast

Paul Cain Peel RNLI station mechanic is to represent the Isle of Man at the Queens Diamond Jubilee sail past on the Thames this Summer.

Paul has been selected to be on board a Tamar class lifeboat which will be amongst 1000 boats to sail along the Thames on June 3rd. Paul says he is delighted to be selected for this honour.

Prior to that Paul is to attend RNLI HQ in Poole on January 30th. to be updated on the new Shannon class of lifeboats which will be the replacement for the Mersey class. He will also observe capsize trials during his visit.
