Emergency Road Closure: Blackberry Lane, Onchan

by isleofman.com 23rd January 2012

Manx Gas would like to inform the public of an emergency road closure in Onchan due to a gas escape.

There will be no access to Blackberry Lane from Summer Hill while engineers carry out repairs.

Motorists will be able to drive down Blackberry Lane from Governor’s Road, however please be aware that this could change once the extent of the work required is determined. A further update will be given as progress is made.

Blackberry Lane will remain closed in one direction until further notice, but it is hoped the repairs will take no more than three days.

Manx Gas would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and will strive to complete the work as soon as possible. If you require any further information or have any queries relating to the work, you can contact operations manager John Davies on 644444.
