Request for Information

Police are requesting information in relation to significant and expensiv damage caused to air conditioning units at the rear of Number 10 Finch Road, Douglas which is a commercial business property. This has occurred between 7.00pm on Friday 20th January 2012 and 21st January 2012 and anyone with information on how any damage has occurred, or of anyone in the area between the given times, is asked to contact PC 273 BARKLIE at Police Headquarters of 631212.

Ramsey Police wish to speak with  two cyclists who stopped on the south side of the Sulby Claddaghs (near to the green painted bridge) at about 3pm on Saturday 14th January 2012.  These men may have witnessed an argument at that location between two others regarding the control of a dog.  PC Midghall requests that the cyclists contact him at Ramsey Station on 812234 or any other officer.

Constable Ben Horan from Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team is investigating an incident involving a motor car that occurred on between 2.00pm on Saturday 28th January 2012 and 9.30am on Sunday 29th January 2012.
 
Between the stated times, a white coloured Citroen Relay van was parked at the road side in Princes Street, Douglas. When the owner returned to their vehicle, they found that one of their wing mirrors had been snapped off.
 
PC HORAN said “The cost of replacing a vehicle wing mirror can be surprisingly high, leaving the owner considerably out of pocket. The Police would like to hear from anybody who may have been involved in, or seen the incident.”

Police are investigating an incident, which occurred on the dance floor of a Douglas bar last night. The incident at Fiesta Havana on Wellington Street, resulted in a male hospitalised with head injuries. The male was later discharged but required stitches for this injuries. Police are interested in speaking to anyone who was in the downstairs area of the bar at the time and who may have witnessed the incident. If anyone has any information to assist Police, please contact PC 275 Samuel Cannell at Douglas Police Headquarters on 631212 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111. Police would like to emphasise that incidents such as this are rare and that Police involvement is important to help prevent further incidents in future.

Peel Police are appealing for witnesses to criminal damage which was caused to a motor vehicle, parked in the Broogh Wyllin area of Kirk Michael, sometime between 20:00 hrs on Thursday 26th January 2012 and 07:45 hrs on Friday 27th January 2012.  The damage consists of the vehicle’s passenger side wing mirror being ripped off, and left on the ground, on the pavement beside the vehicle.   
 
Police are anxious to hear from any person who may have any information which could assist in furthering their investigations and would urge any person who was in the area at the given time, to make contact.  Enquires are ongoing into this matter and if any persons or vehicles were seen or heard acting suspiciously in the area during the times stated, Police will be eager to speak with witnesses.
