Two New Senior Appoitments At Fairbairn Private Bank

by isleofman.com 2nd February 2012

Fairbairn Private Bank has created two new senior management roles to oversee its client-focused staff. Jon Evans will become head of business development and Cameron Walker will head up the relationship management teams.  These significant appointments reflect the company’s continued growth and expansion.

Evans has over 23 years’ experience in the private banking sector, having worked in Hong Kong, Jersey and the Isle of Man.  He joined Fairbairn Private Bank in the Isle of Man eight years ago and will assume responsibility for the bank’s business development strategy and promoting its award-winning banking and investment services to both new and existing clients.

Walker joined Fairbairn Private Bank in Jersey nearly ten years ago and in his new role will be responsible for the management of the relationship management teams across the bank’s office locations. His focus will be on developing client relationships and managing their long term financial goals, ensuring high levels of service and financial advice are delivered for both direct clients and professional advisers.

Commenting on the appointments, Greg Horton, managing director of Fairbairn Private Bank said: “Despite the macroeconomic headwinds facing global markets, our growth remains strong and these senior roles for Jon and Cameron will play an integral part in steering the company through the challenges ahead.  I have no doubt that Jon and Cameron’s considerable financial experience will play an integral part in our continuing success.”
