The Police have now named the rider of Yamaha motorcycle who was killed in a collision with car near to the Ballabeg Level Crossing in Baldrine last Wednesday.
 
He was Douglas Aaron Spencer, known as “Doug”, who was 19 years old and from Laxey.
 
The investigation into the collision is being led by Inspector Stephen of the Road Policing Unit.  He said “There has been a very good level of response from members of the public, following the appeal last week but if there is anyone who remembers seeing a black coloured Yamaha motorcycle being ridden towards Laxey or a silver coloured Honda Jazz car being driven towards Baldrine, please contact your local Police Station”.
