Archery Report

This week saw another rhubarb challenge round competed each archer is only allowed to submit their highest out of two scores and these can only be shot using the club fibre glass beginner’s bows.

Rob Lott topped the Rhubarb this week followed by junior Bradley Layton both sawing personal bests then Ethan Moore and Karen Lott who both could not improve on the first scores and Adam Wright also puts in a personal best.

Other archers opting out of the Rhubarb and shot a Portsmouth round were Tony Harley who topped the gents recurve again this week and also put in the highest score of the day followed by Rhys Moore just edging his father Dave Moore out of the runners up spot in the last end by levelling the score but scoring more 10’s new archer Dave Dougherty put in his first score Dave Berry spent the morning setting up his new bow and in the Gents compound Colin Moore tops the table.

Next weeks is a Vegas scratch league round 10am for a 10:30 start for the morning session and 1:30pm for a 2pm start for the afternoon session also this week see the return of Monday Night Shooting with a Worcester Handicap league match on the cards.
