Police in the Southern neighbourhood Policing Team are asking members of the public for information concerning a two vehicle road traffic collision which occurred on Monday 13th February 2012  outside Arbory School in Ballabeg at about 3.40pm.
 
At this time a white medium sized van style of vehicle has struck another white mini bus parked in the area causing damage to the off side wing mirror of the mini bus, the driver of this white van failed to stop after the accident.
 
Police are asking that anyone who may have witnessed this accident or has any information regarding it to contact Port Erin Police Station on 832222, or speak with any Police Officer.

Officers from the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team are investigating the theft of 15 fishing buoys from the area of Derbyhaven. The incident occurred between midnight on Friday 10th February and midday on Thursday 16th February 2012.  Although the buoys vary in size, due to the number taken police suspect that some sort of vehicle would have been used to transport them.   Police would like to stress to the public the importance of securing all items that might attract thieves and to report any suspicious activity.
 
If anyone has any information regarding the stolen items then they are urged to contact PC WATTERSON at Castletown Poilce Station or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Police are trying to locate a missing person, Robert Dawson who is a 34 year old man.  Mr Dawson was reported missing late this afternoon (Sunday 19th February 2012); He is not wanted by the Police for any offences however we are concerned for his welfare. Mr Dawson was last in the Strang area and is known to have associates in the north of the Island. 
 
Mr Dawson is around 5 feet 8 inches tall, has short cropped brown hair with a distinctive scar on the back of his head. He was wearing a grey coloured hooded top and blue jeans.
 
Anyone who knows Mr Dawson’s current whereabouts or believes they have seen him after 4.00pm this afternoon is urged to contact Police Headquarters on 631313.

Police are requesting for witnesses to an act of criminal damage against the door of a property on Market Street in Douglas.
 
Between 9:30pm on Saturday 11th February and 8:30am on Sunday 12th February, damage has been caused to a wooden door which is at the rear of a property on Market Street.
The door to the property appears to have been kicked numerous times causing the wood to splinter and resulting in damage being inflicted to the handle mechanism.
 
This will cost the owner a considerable amount of money for it to be repaired.
 
Police are asking for any witnesses to come forward and to contact PC 189 Andy REED at Lord Street Police Station on 631212.
