Volunteer Peel crewman Juan Owens and Zurich Financial Services have boosted the RNLI  SOS fund with the presentation of a cheque for ?1100.08. 

Juan donned his RNLI kit to collect in Zurich office on SOS Day (29 January) and collected ?550, this was then doubled by Zurich from its staff charity fund. Chris Holland and Voirrey Keggin trustees of the fund joined Juan before a training launch on Sunday morning to present the cheque to second coxswain John Hunter.
