Marine Biological Station

by isleofman.com 24th February 2012
Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team are urging parents to know where your children are when they go out to play. Police have received information that young people have gained entry into the Marine Biological Station on Port Erin Promenade. Once inside they have caused damage. Although Police do not condone these acts of Criminal Damage, their main concern is for the safety of these persons once inside this building, as there are a lot of potential dangers inside which pose a threat of serious injury.

PC Rob Lewis states “I would ask every parent or guardian to know where your child is playing, as this building has some very serious hazards inside and poses a very dangerous risk to a persons safety whilst inside. The Police will be enhancing patrols in the area and action will be taken against anybody found causing criminal damage.  I would also like to appeal to any member of the public who witness or suspect persons are inside this property to contact the police on 631212.”
