MEA Board Changed

by isleofman.com 24th February 2012

Following the approval by Tynwald on 21 February 2012, there have been some changes to the MEA Board.  Mr Lowey MLC remains Chairman, with Mr Houghton MHK as Deputy Chairman.  Mr John Reid and Mr Steve Christian have been reappointed and Mr Ken Tomlinson has now retired.  New Members of the Board are Mr Bill Mummery and Mr Mike Coleman.

Chairman Eddie Lowey said, “I am very pleased that we have retained the services of two Members who were first appointed in 2005 and who bring with them much experience about the MEA and the challenges it faces.  I would also like to pay tribute to retiring MEA Member Ken Tomlinson who has worked tirelessly for the Board during his tenure and we wish him well in his retirement.

We look forward to welcoming Mike Coleman and Bill Mummery. Mike Coleman comes from an Engineering and Finance background as well as being an experienced Statutory Board Member at WASA.  While Bill Mummery - who is well known as Managing Director of Celton Manx - has a solid background in technology which will provide excellent support for our Business Development going forward.”
