Police are investigating a serious assault which took place outside The Spar, Union Mills around 10pm on Friday 24th February 2012.  The assault involved a large group of youths where two young males were assaulted sustaining serious injuries.  The area is thought to have been busy at the time and police are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident.   
 
Police would like to ensure these persons are possible witnesses to the incident and are encouraged to come forward and help them with their enquiries.

Shortly after 7pm on the evening of Thursday 23 February 2012 a two vehicle road traffic collision occurred on the A5 New Castletown Road, Santon. The collision occurred in the Castletown bound carriageway at the entrance to the Hop Garden public house. 
 
The collision involved a Renault Scenic and a Vauxhall Corsa.  As a result the driver’s of both vehicles were treated at Nobles Hospital but were later released.
 
Anyone who has witnessed the collision or who has any information is asked to contact Police Headquarters.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a theft of a dark green cast iron garden chair. The iron part of the chair is constructed in a distinctive swirl pattern, with the seating and back constructed of wooden slats. It is very heavy.
 
The chair was stolen from outside a house in Snaefell Road, Willaston between Wednesday 22nd February at 9pm and Friday 25th February at 9:30am.
 
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen anyone with the chair in the area to come forward. Anyone with information should contact PC 300 WAGSTAFF at Lord Street Police Station on 631212 or leave information anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Around 5.00pm on Friday 24th February 2012 in a garden at an address on Springfield Avenue in Pulrose, a young man was assaulted by having diesel thrown over him.
 
Sergeant Andy Pailor stated, “The victim attended hospital initially however suffered no serious injury. A suspect was arrested nearby and is currently detained in Police custody. Those involved were known to each other and there was no threat to the safety of the community in general”.
 
Police urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has information which they think may assist the enquiry team to contact Douglas Police on 631212 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111

Police attended a road traffic collision shortly after 7pm on the evening of Thursday 23 February 2012 on the A5 New Castletown Road. The collision occurred on the Castletown bound carriageway at the entrance to the Hop Garden public house.

Between the hours of 5.30pm on saturday 18th february 2012 & 1.30pm on thursday 23rd february 2012. A quantity of beers and wine was stolen from a garden shed in the rear garden of a house in bellevue park, peel.
