Police are appealing for witnesses following an attack on a number of sheep by a dog during the late afternoon of Friday the 24th of February 2012 in farmer’s fields between the Douglas Crematorium and Ballanard Road, Douglas. The attack caused severe injuries to a number of sheep and lambs, causing them to be put down.
A similar incident happened a couple of weeks ago at the same location, again with a number of sheep having to be put down. Police are appealing for help with this incident and in particular are keen to prevent it from happening again. The dog in question would most likely have been quite bloodied afterwards, and officers would urge that the owner of the dog please make contact with the Police. On 29th February 2012, at approximately 11am, a male has misplaced his prescription medication on a bus travelling through the Willaston area and through to Douglas. The prescription medication, being approximately 40 x Solpadone tablets.
If anybody finds the bag containing the prescription medication could they contact the nearest Police Station?
Police would urge anybody who knows the whereabouts of the bag to contact them, the prescription drugs could be harmful to young children or dangerous if taken at the wrong dosage.
