Films In Peel

On Thursday 8th March, Films in Peel at the Centenary Centre, will be screening Young Hearts Run Free (12A). This film was written, directed and produced by a young independent filmmaker from Northumberland, Andrew Simpson. The story is set in 1974, during a violent miners' strike and follows a teenage artist and a gorgeous girl from London through these turbulent times. Writer-director and founder of Newcastle-based Bede Films, Andrew will be special guest at the event. He will be answering questions after the film. This event is supported by the Isle of Man Arts Council.

Tickets on sale now at Celtic Gold in Peel at ?4 (?3 conc) or available on the door. Reservation tickets with a seat guarantee are available from Shakti Man (Ramsey), Mostly Manx (Douglas) and Thompson Travel (Port Erin). The film starts at 7:45pm and doors open at 7pm.
