Ramsey Town Commissioners’ chairman Captain Nigel Malpass has visited the Henry Bloom Noble Library in Douglas. Accompanied by Ramsey town librarian Paul Boulton the chairman was greeted by the Mayor of Douglas, Councillor Ritchie McNicholl and Douglas borough librarian Jan Macartney.

The chairman and his fellow commissioners are currently undertaking a comparative review of services provided by the Island’s public libraries with particular focus on new technology, such as the e-books service introduced by the Henry Bloom Noble Library in 2011, with a view to how best to develop Ramsey town library’s customer offering.
