This incident appears at this time to be an isolated one, but I would like to remind people to be vigilant to anything which they may perceive to be suspicious  as well as appealling to anyone who may have any information, no matter how small they may feel this is, or who may have been in the area at the time and seen smoke or anything of significance to contact my colleagues either at Onchan Police station on 631575 or Police Headquarters on 631212. Alternatively I would like to remind members of the public that information can also be given about this, or any other crime, anonymously via Crimestoppers, which is an organisation unconnected to the police, on 0800 555 111 where a reward may be payable as a result of your information.”
