Radio Controlled Models Exhibition

The Manx Model Boat Club are participating in an exhibition of radio controlled models, sponsored by Modeltech-IOM over the weekend 24/25th March. This will include many boats from members of the Club. Model aircraft will also be presented by the Manx Model Flyers. The Exhibition is free and will be at the Strand Shopping Centre.

The exhibition will run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday the 24th March and from 12noon till 4pm on Sunday the 25th March. The exhibition is in Unit 12 on the first floor of the Strand Shopping Centre.

The Manx Model Boat Club will have a display of many differing types of vessel, from fishing boats, warships, yachts and a favourite of all, tugs. Also present will be club members who can be questioned regarding either their models, or can answer more general questions regarding the hobby.

This will be a static display, though one or two models may be showing off some of their functions as these are programmed into their memories. The Club’s full calendar of events will be available at the exhibition. The club wishes to thank Sean of Modeltech-IOM for his sponsorship of this event.
