The Economic Policy Review Committee, a Standing Committee of Tynwald, will be taking oral evidence from the Chief Minister for the first time next week. A wide range of topics is likely to be covered in the evidence session, in which the Chief Secretary will also participate.

The Committee intends to take this evidence on Wednesday 4th April 2012 at 2.30 pm in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas.

2.30 pm Hon A Bell MHK, Chief Minister
Mr W Greenhow, Chief Secretary

The evidence will be taken in public; members of the public are welcome to attend.

The Economic Policy Review Committee is one of three new Standing Committees of Tynwald Court established in October 2011 with a wide scrutiny remit. The oral evidence session with the Chief Minister on 4th April is the first in what is expected to be a series of routine scrutiny sessions covering all Departments over the course of about a year.
