Easter Bunny visits Barclays to raise funds for Crossroads

The Easter Bunny made a special visit to the Barclays offices in Eagle Court and Victoria Street last week, all in aid of charity.

During the event, organised by Barclays employees Eileen Clarke and Rebecca Stride, staff were given the chance to take eggs for themselves and their colleagues in return for a contribution to the Barclays Charity of the Year, Crossroads.

Chairman of the Charity Committee Stuart Nelson said: ‘The visiting bunny helped welcome in the arrival of the Easter holidays as well as raising vital funds for this deserving charity.

The event raised over ?450 which will be matched by Barclays ? for ? making a grant total of ?900. This fundraising activity forms part of a calendar of events for Crossroads throughout the year.’
