Duncan Lawrie Private Bank expands on the Isle of Man

Duncan Lawrie Private Bank today announced the expansion of its offices in the Isle of Man, effectively doubling its space after acquiring the building adjacent to their existing premises on Mount Havelock.

Nigel Gautrey, Banking Director at Duncan Lawrie Private Bank, said:

“We are experiencing real growth on the Island and are committed to expanding our services over the long-term, hence our acquisition of 16, 17 and 18 Mount Havelock. In addition to this, we are also keen to build on the strength of our local business relationships on the Island and will be offering office units in numbers 17 and 18, on a short or long-term basis, to start-ups and local businesses.”

To be known as ‘The Forum’ the initiative will comprise of four hi-tech serviced office suites, supported by a shared reception and with direct access to an interview suite and board room facilities. Designed with flexibility in mind, The Forum is seeking to meet the office needs of entrepreneurs and small business owners looking for a central Douglas location.

Nigel Gautrey, added:

“At Duncan Lawrie Private Bank we have always worked with local people and established a strong reputation for providing our clients with traditional and bespoke services on the Isle of Man. We are looking forward to working in close proximity to some exciting new businesses in the local community.”

The opening was celebrated at one of Duncan Lawrie Private Bank’s tea and champagne tasting events on Tuesday 20th March 2012 at the Mount Havelock premises.
