Manx Telecom will attend next month’s eGR Subscribers Forum organised by eGaming Review - the world leading publication for the online gaming industry.
The forum takes place in The Great Hall, Wembley Stadium, on May 10, and Manx Telecom will use the event as a platform to promote its managed and hosting services, and its brand new Intelligent Cloud product.
Manx Telecom has also been nominated in two categories - best data centre of the year and best customer service of the year - at the third annual eGR B2B Awards which celebrate the world’s best service providers and B2B operators in the online gaming industry. The Atrium at Wembley Stadium will be the venue for the awards held on the evening of May 10. The awards will be attended by more than 500 major e-gaming service providers and are open to all companies that offer a B2B product. Suppliers from across all the major e-gaming disciplines are recognised including betting and gaming software, networks, mobile, payments, recruitment, marketing, IT and infrastructure.
Representing Manx Telecom at both events will be Stuart Paul, Data Centres Director; Fergal McKenna, Sales Director; Stephen Trimble, Enterprise Hosting and Solutions Manager; and Keith Nash, International Hosting Development and Strategic Alliances, who is based in London.
Stuart Paul, who represented Manx Telecom at recent e-gaming expos in Panama and Macau, commented:
“As eGR events are always a major focal point in the e-gaming calendar it’s important that Manx Telecom is represented at the forum and awards. Manx Telecom is known around the world for providing first class telephony services, but with products such as Intelligent Cloud we’re also building a growing reputation - both on-Island and off-Island - for delivering complete ICT solutions. At eGR we’ll be talking to potential clients about the advantages managed and hosted services can give them by reducing costs and improving efficiency - advantages which are vitally important in the competitive world of e-gaming.”
He added that Intelligent Cloud was an excellent example of how businesses can use technology to reduce the financial burden of in-house IT hardware and maintenance. Manx Telecom’s purpose built Douglas North Data Centre is at the heart of Intelligent Cloud and the ?15million state of the art centre is also the hub of Manx Telecom’s hosting services. It meets stringent international standards for resilience and security and is utilised and trusted by Isle of Man Government and world leading private sector brands - many of which are major players in the e-gaming sector.
