Queen Elizabeth II High School staff ‘Swim the Parish’

by isleofman.com 2nd May 2012

Following the successful completion of the recent TT swim (37.5 miles) at Peel swimming pool by two teams of staff from Queen Elizabeth II High School, the teams have now joined forces and set themselves the challenge of swimming the length of the Parish Walk!

This is a distance of 85 miles or just under 137 Km, which is the equivalent of 5472 lengths! The aim is to complete this by the end of the summer term and the staff are looking for sponsorship for this challenge. The money raised will go to Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation. This is a fantastic cause and there will hopefully be considerable interest in supporting this local charity.

If you would be prepared to sponsor the team for any amount, no matter how large or small, then please contact School either by e-mailing enquiries@qe2.sch.im or by phone on 841000. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
