Successful Veterinary Fun Day in Ramsey

by isleofman.com 8th May 2012

Edric Cross from Arg Beiyn Veterinary Practice wishes to express his thanks on behalf of the practice to all those who contributed to the very successful Veterinary Fun Day held in Ramsey on Saturday 21st April. Although the weather was chilly it remained sunny and with Manx Radio broadcasting from Ramsey in the morning the town was very busy and there was a fun atmosphere throughout the day.

“We raised over ?800 on the day from collections, face painting, a raffle for a video camera and a hugely successful photographic session where people were able to have a photographic portrait taken with a Barn Owl or Boa Constrictor from the Wildlife Park.

The money raised will be divided between our charities Hounds for Heroes and The Manx Wildlife Trust.

Special thanks go to Ramsey Chamber of Commerce, Ramsey Town Commissioners, the shops and businesses of Ramsey, Wellard Animation and Film, Ramsey Grammar School, The Wildlife Park, Pennybridge Stables,  Ramsey Dog Training Club, Andrew Barton Photography and the family and friends of our staff who all gave their support on the day.”
