Kirk Michael Land Exchange – Evidence Hearing

Tynwald resolved on 22nd February 2012 –

That Tynwald appoints a Committee of three Members with powers to take written and oral evidence pursuant to sections 3 and 4 of the Tynwald Proceedings Act 1876, as amended, to investigate the Kirk Michael School Land Exchange Agreement between Heritage Homes, Pinecrest Investments Ltd and the Department of Education and Children; whether by January 2011 access to the land had been secured, as was stated at that time by the Hon. Member for Ayre; the manner in which the negotiations were
conducted; and the value for money achieved; and to report with recommendations by May 2012.

The Committee intends to hear evidence from the persons listed below on Thursday 10th May 2012 commencing at 2.30 pm in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas.
