Manx2.com today (8th May) launched two new daily routes from the Isle of Man to London Oxford Airport and on to Jersey.

The inaugural daily flight to London Oxford departed this morning and will return to the Island this afternoon.  Fares start from ?49.95 one-way including taxes, with no credit card charges or booking fees to pay and an allowance of up to 10kg for hand luggage.

Flights to Jersey have also started operating today, with fares starting from ?74.95 one way, which also includes taxes, charges and additional benefits.  The daily service to Jersey via London Oxford will provide easy and affordable travel to both business and leisure passengers looking to fly to the largest of the Channel Islands. The new service will also give a time-saving alternative to changing planes in Gatwick or Manchester.

David Buck, Manx2.com’s Managing Director, said: ‘The new routes to London Oxford Airport and Jersey are another example of our commitment to keeping the island communities of the UK connected and the perfect opportunity for our passengers to travel through a first class, uncongested airport. At Manx2.com we are determined to make travel even easier and more affordable for all and thanks to these new routes many popular destinations in London and the Midlands are more accessible to passengers.’

Chris Orphanou, Managing Director of London Oxford Airport, said: ‘The launch of these two new daily scheduled services from London Oxford Airport gives us the opportunity to showcase the world class facilities we have here. Combined with London Oxford’s strategic location and its great road, rail and bus links make it the ideal gateway for both business and leisure travel.’
