Following the Isle of Man Constabulary’s request for assistance in locating an adult male, the gentleman has been located safe and well in the Port Sodderick area.
During the search, several Police Officers, Police Dogs, Search & Rescue (SARDA), Isle of Man Coastguard teams from Douglas and Castletown, the Civil Defence and Douglas Lifeboat all participated in an excellent co-ordinated incident. The public are also thanked for their assistance and cooperation which resulted in a successful conclusion.
Although at this time he does not appear to be suffering any ill effects, as a precautionary measure, the gentleman has been taken to Nobles Hospital, Braddan.

Isle of Man Constabulary is currently very concerned for the welfare of a male in the Port Soderick/Braaid area of Braddan, Isle of Man.
Stephen GILMORE
36 year old white male stocky build
5’ 6” tall with very short grey hair (almost shaved)
Wearing spectacles, a black padded jacket and dark grey trousers.
He was last seen in Douglas this morning.
Police are suggesting that owner’s of outlying property in this area should be aware that he may be sheltering and if anybody has any information regarding Stephen’s whereabouts they should ring 631212 as a matter of urgency or speak with any Police officer.
