Peel RNLI lifeboat launched to aid cruiser

Peel RNLI lifeboat with its volunteer crew was launched today (21/05) at 12.50pm to go to the aid of a Peel cruiser.

Cloud Nine had experienced engine overheating about 3 miles West of Peel, the Ruby Clery under coxswain John Hunter and the volunteer crew were quickly at the scene and took the vessel in tow arriving back in Peel with all occupants safe. In fine weather the vessel was in no danger and will soon be back at sea after repairs.
