Local talent to showcase in Summertime Special charity fundraiser

The Villa Marina Arcade will be reverberating to the sounds of the Mighty Wurlitzer organ on June 28th for a Summertime Special show in aid of Friends of Robert Owen House and Junior Achievement.

The variety show, compered by James Turpin, will showcase some of the island’s most promising young stars from Junior Achievement’s Next Big Thing talent contest held earlier this year, alongside the Mighty Wurlitzer played by Sam Creer and Jonathan King.

Artists include singers Laura Corkill, Violet, Daniel Sheffield and Lois Mooney, harpist Mera Royle and dancer Thomas Callow.

The show starts at 7.15pm. Tickets priced ?10 are available from the Welcome Centre at the Sea Terminal or from the Villa Marina box office, telephone 600555 or visit www.villagaiety.com. Alternatively, contact Friends of Robert Owen House, 622314.
