Fatal injury Road Traffic Collision on main Laxey to Ramsey Coast Road at Bulgham

At approximately 11.30am on Tuesday 29th May 2012, a two vehicle Fatal injury Road Traffic Collision occurred at Bulgham on the main Ramsey to Laxey Coast Road.
 
Involved in the collision was a blue and white Suzuki motor cycle, being ridden by a male from the North East of England and a red Citroen motor car, being driven by a local man, who had his wife travelling with him as passenger.
 
At the time of the collision, the motor cycle was being ridden North, with the car travelling in the direction of Laxey. As a result of the collision, the rider of the motor cycle sustained fatal injuries. The occupants of the other vehicle were uninjured.
 
The road was closed for approximately six hours whilst Police conducted enquiries at the scene.
 
The Police are eager to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this collision occurring and in particular the occupants of a white car, which was travelling North and which stopped at the collision scene. Anyone with information to assist is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit at Police Headquarters.
