At approximately 6.57 am this date, a three vehicle road traffic collision occurred at the above location
The collision involved a yellow and blue coloured Dennis Refuse Collection Wagon, a blue and white coloured Suzuki GSXR 1000 motorcycle and a red and white coloured Yamaha R6 motorcycle.
All three vehicles had been travelling towards Kirk Michael. The Refuse Collection Wagon had stopped. The two following motorcycles have subsequently become involved in a collision.
As a result of the collision the rider of the Suzuki motorcycle sustained fatal injuries and the rider of the Yamaha motorcycle was taken to Nobles Hospital for treatment. The occupants of the other vehicle were uninjured.
The road was closed for approximately eight and a half hours whilst Police conducted enquiries at the scene.
The Police would like to speak to anybody who witnessed the collision or remembers seeing any of the vehicles described immediately before the collision.
