Ramsey Fire Services attend kitchen fire in Sulby

At 17:57 on Thursday 14th June 2012 two fire appliances from Ramsey attended the report of a kitchen fire on the Stephens Meadow Estate, Sulby.

Two crew members wearing Breathing Apparatus entered the room and isolated the power supply before removing a deep fat fryer from an electric hob.

Fire crews also used a positive pressure fan to ventilate the premises removing the smoke.

Crews left the incident and returned to home station by 18:49 after making sure the incident had been dealt with successfully.

The Occupier was treated for the effects of smoke inhalation by fire crews.
