Building works at Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital

by isleofman.com 15th June 2012
Due to the progression of building works within the old General Ward area of Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital (RDCH), from Monday 18th June the Dental Clinics and the Operating Theatre will be inaccessible from within the hospital until the completion of the works planned for December 2012. The old General Ward corridor will be closed to patients and staff during this time.

All patients attending these areas of the hospital are requested to enter the building via the appropriate theatre entrance or the Community Dental entrance at the rear of the hospital. Limited car parking is provided in this area. NHS Dental access will remain along the pathway as at present.

The Department of Health apologises for any inconvenience to patients. This is a necessary precaution to ensure the safety of patients and staff during the development of a Wound Management and Podiatry facility and a Renal Dialysis Satellite Unit at Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital.
