Golden Queenie still not found!

by isleofman.com 27th June 2012

On the eve of the Isle of Man Queenie Festival organisers have confirmed that the prized Golden Queenie has not yet been found from the 2012 Queenie Conundrum.

The clues for the latest Golden Queenie Conundrum were released within festival programmes that went on sale in newsagents island-wide on the 2 June. Since then many eager treasure hunters have been attempting to solve the cryptic riddle that will reveal the location of the prized golden Queenie worth ?4,000, but none have been successful.

Tim Croft Queenie Festival organiser commented, “We know there are a huge number of the public who are attempting to solve the clues, we have been inundated with text messages on the Golden Queenie number with potential solutions, but no one has yet to solve the puzzle and locate the buried shell.”

Last year’s Golden Queenie Conundrum remained unsolved. Despite many people searching and attempting to solve the clues the Queenie Festival organisers took the decision to reveal the solution and relaunch a new Conundrum for 2012.

The 2012 Isle of Man Queenie Festival takes place between 29 June and 1 July for more information on the festival, pick up a programme from participating newsagents or visit www.queeniefestival.com.
