IOM Constabulary - Request for Information

by isleofman.com 3rd July 2012
Police are requesting for witnesses after several items were stolen from the front porch of an address on Stanley View in Douglas.

At 12:10pm on Monday 2nd July the occupier of this address left her shopping and handbag in the front porch whilst she went upstairs with other items, when she returned the handbag and shopping had been taken.

A black and white Leopard print style handbag with two shoulder straps was taken which contained a matching purse. There was a significant amount of money within the purse, along with personal cards and other documents but the owner is primarily upset about the loss of her family photographs which were within. Also taken was a blue and white plastic carrier bag containing groceries.

The owner of these items would like to appeal to the offender to hand them into the Police as the photographs are of great sentimental value to the family.

If anyone has information which they think the Police will find useful they are asked to contact Douglas Police Headquarters on 01624 631212 or call Isle of Man Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
