The Isle of Man Constabulary have released the following notice and requests for information.
At 10am on Wednesday the 18th day of July 2012 the Coroner of Inquests Mr J.Needham will reconvene the inquest into the death of Mr Carl Mark Green 44yrs of Douglas.
This Inquest is set down for a period of three days, 18th, 19th and 20th of July.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of 6 bags of scrap metal from a property in Mountain View, Ballaugh. The bags which contained copper and brass were taken from the side of the house sometime between Sunday 24th June and Saturday 30th June 2012. It is believed that a van or similar type vehicle would have been required to remove the bags due to their weight.
Police would like anyone who may have knowledge of this incident or the persons responsible to contact any member of the Ramsey Policing Team on 812234. Alternatively information can be left on the Isle of Man Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.

Constable Jenette Martin from the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team is investigating an incident where a vehicle has been damaged travelling on the Tholt-E-Will Road towards Sulby. The silver coloured Toyota Yaris was struck by a vehicle which is described as a silvery/ blue coloured Ford Fiesta travelling in the opposite direction, being driven by a female. As a result the Toyota Yaris has sustained damage to the wing mirror.
PC Martin said “Police are appealing to anybody who may have been involved in, or have information relating to the incident to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234 .”

Police are currently investigating a fire involving a white motor vehicle which was parked near to the car showroom forecourt in the area of Rosemount, Douglas. This fire is understood to have occurred at approximately 1am on Sunday 1st July, and resulted in damage being caused to the interior of the vehicle and some of its contents.
Detective Sergeant Neil Craig from the police’s Criminal Investigation Department says, “the matter is at this time being investigated as a suspicious fire in conjunction with fire investigation officers from the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service. I can confirm that although there were several people in the area at that time, thankfully nobody was injured. As a result of enquiries which have been made, two people have been arrested in connection with this incident and are currently the subject of police bail whilst further enquiries are made. This incident appears at this time to be an isolated one, but I would like to remind people to be vigilant to anything which they may perceive to be suspicious as well as appealing to anyone who may have any information about this matter, no matter how small they may feel this is, or who may have been in the area at the time and seen any smoke, fire or anything else of significance to contact my colleagues at Police Headquarters on 631212. Alternatively I would like to remind members of the public that information can also be given about this, or any other crime, anonymously via Crimestoppers, which is an organisation unconnected to the police, on 0800 555 111 where a reward may be payable as a result of your information.”
