IOM Constabulary Notices and Request for Information

Police are requesting information regarding three sets of golf clubs which were last seen in the top right hand corner of the Palace Car Park beside the Palace Cinema in Douglas at approximately 7.00pm on Sunday 8th July 2012. The first set of golf clubs were inside a ‘Ping’ branded grey and black coloured golf bag containing ‘RAC’ branded tailor made irons, a wedge, two lobs and a ‘Cleveland’ branded tour driver. The second set was inside a ‘Tour Collection’ branded dark blue, black and white coloured bag with ‘Ping’ branded irons and a ‘Ben Sayers’ lob wedge. The third was a ‘Power caddy bag’ which is black and white in colour and has fittings to be set on an electric caddy, it did not have any irons inside just smaller golfing items.

Police are asking for anyone with information regarding this to come forward or if indeed you have bought a second hand iphone recently to check the IMEI number which is unique to each phone. The IMEI number Police are looking for is 012849004112633. If anyone has any information regarding this matter, please contact Constable Killey at Lord Street Police station on 631212.

Police are investigating damage caused to a Manx Stone and gate pillar belonging to a property in Baldrine.
 
The incident occurred at approximately 8.00pm, Sunday 8th July as a witness saw a white coloured four by four vehicle reverse out of a lane onto Clayhead Road, where its rear end collided with the wall, causing its gate pillar to become dislodged. The vehicle then drove off without reporting the damage to the property owner.
 
Police are keen to speak with the driver of the white four by four.

At about 6:20am on Wednesday 11th July 2012, members of the public discovered the body of a local man in the area of the Bowl by the National Sports Centre, Douglas.
 
An ambulance attended and the local man was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The Coroner of inquests has been notified and Police have notified family members.
 
Police are not treating the matter as suspicious.
